Our Service-Team
We offer fundamental experience and expertise.
Mario Groß »
He is a trained toolmaker and worked with Trumpf laser systems since the mid-1990s in the service area. He is therefore well acquainted with the development of the Trumpf resonator series and an experienced expert for possible sources of errors/ optimization potential of CO2 laser resonators and its system engineering.
« Stefan N. Schaefer
He is an engineer in mechanical engineering/ plant engineering and a tool maker with over 15 years of experience in precision manufacturing. As an independent developer and manufacturer for laser producers and companies in the field of laser diagnostics and space he has acquired the necessary expertise for the revision or new production of special components for optical resonators.
Company history
Again and again confronted with so-called irreparable damage to resonators, Mario Gross decided in 2009 to address this problem in cooperation with Stefan N. Schaefer.
Our goal was to use our over decades accumulated expertise for the repair of defective laser resonators in order to offer you an efficient revision of your resonator in the form of our "Resonator-Service".
We use self-developed techniques, for example in the readjustment of the laser beam position or the use of CNC machining centers for re-processing and re-manufacturing of resonator components.
More than 35 resonators could be fully repaired since the founding of the company in 2009. At the same time, the beam power, the power distribution and other operating parameters have been brought back to the level of the delivery status. In this way, our customer could save a lot instead of buying a new or rebuilt resonator.
Complete Resonator Repair
We dismantle, transport and repair your defective resonator and do re-commissioning at your plant.
Repair means that the resonator is completely disassembled, all relevant parts of the CO2 laser processed or remade, and all wearing parts, gas cooler, quartz tubes and mirrors checked and replaced if necessary so you can be sure of your plant availability.
